Starting tomorrow (which is a Friday, by the way), I will be doing a weekly posting entitled "Fun Felt Fridays". Felt is by far one of my most favorite crafting/teaching supplies. Felt can cut into shapes to teach just about anything-math, letters, phonics, songs, stories, etc. Paper-sized sheets of felt will cost you about $.10-$.25 per piece, depending on where you buy it from. It is cheap, easy to work with, and lots of fun for kids!
Gather any felt that you may have laying around your house, a pair of scissors, and stay tuned tomorrow for the first of many "Fun Felt Fridays"! I hope you and your kids come to enjoy felt as much as my kiddos and I do!
