DIY: Hand Sugar Scrub

I've wanted to try this for a while now.  Seeing as nearly everyone on Pinterest has tried this or Pinned this, I really have no one in particular to credit for the genius recipe (side note-I just had a difficult time spelling "genius"...bah ha!  Figures!).

Anyway, all you need is a jar of some sort, sugar, and Dawn dish soap...the pink kind with Oil of Olay in it.

Fill your jar about 3/4 of the way full with sugar.  Then, add in some dish soap, almost to the top.  It compacts a little bit once the two ingredients combine, so you can add more sugar or soap as necessary to fully fill your jar.  You just want it to be a thick pasty consistency.

Top with a lid and a cute label and it's ready to be used or given as a gift!

To use: Place a small amount of the sugar scrub on your hands and rub all over (add more as necessary).  The sugar exfoliates and the soap cleanses and moisturizes.  Rinse off in warm water.  No need to use soap after as this IS your soap, too!

Side note: this would also probably work well on feet, too!

Easy peasy!  Enjoy!
